Hey guys! I have
hardly any time to write, I’m just sending this to you both. Anyway it’s been a crazy week! LOTS of ups
and downs. It’s been very hard too. The language is difficult but coming along
a little slowly, I really miss you guys so much and love you so, so much. Thank
you for all of the emails!
An update of the week
so far: I’ve felt the spirit a lot, but
also had a lot of lows, missing you guys. We have to teach fake investigators,
and it’s hard in Spanish, so frustrating not being able to say what you want
to!
There are about 60
missionaries here, expecting to get 20 more by the end of 6 weeks. The food is
decent not great haha but it’s okay! This past Saturday, we went to the park
and talked to people. Me and the Elder I went with had 25 contacts, 2
referrals, and gave out 3 Books of Mormon. It was a great experience. How are
you? Update me on everything please!
Sorry the clock ran
out and i had to re-sign in! Anyway the park was a great experience! How are
you? How is home? How is coop? Anything
new going on? Letters and packages take 7-10 days so it’s not too bad. Send me
stuff because I like getting it! The temple here is just awesome! It’s right
outside our window, such a great view each day. Anyway to be honest it’s been a
tough week, lots of stress, lots of emotions. I really miss home. I miss mom
cooking for me and doing my laundry haha, gosh I miss you both! Dad yeah I
noticed there was no razor haha, but I’ve made it work! I’m not particularly hairy
so it’s all good. I’ve been gone for a
week and it feels like I’ve been gone for ages...time seems to go really slow.
The MTC so far...it’s okay. I don’t enjoy it as much as I thought I might, I
know I will enjoy the field more though. But I’m doing okay, just taking it one
day at a time you know? The temple here is amazing. Today we had the 7am
session and it was so great. I really needed it. Anyway I’m sorry I don’t have
a ton of details and stories yet, haha we’ve not been up to much besides class and
eating and sleeping!
